Entrance to kitchen area in living space, center section of door removed allowing for passage without opening door

a project for Andy 1978

Installation of a rudimentary video surveillance system in the entrance hallway of the building where Andy operated the elevator. A monitor was placed in his private room in the basement, allowing him to finally to see who it was who buzzed incessantly all day for his services. Over the duration of three days his comings and goings and revealing commentary were documented in Super 8 film. Duration 3 days.
