an installation with performative event

in collaboration with Peter Moennig and Charles Moulton

During the event the manned camera towers circumambulated the wall taking polaroid pictures of visitors as they engaged socially within the partitioned space. Two of the towers were equiped with polaroid cameras. These pictures were posted on the wall for the duration of the exhibition.

The third tower was equipped with a Super 8 camera. This camera was mistakenly installed upside down on the tower resulting in film that plays in reverse when projected right side up.

After the performative event the towers remained ‘un-manned’ in the space.
