who gets to speak?  2009

A temporary installation of ‘speaker’s corner’ at Revolution Books, NYC. During the day the podium sits on it’s pedestal, the curtain is open, the photograph is revealed; the microphone is off. In the evening the platform is pulled out, the podium is lowered from the pedestal, the curtain is drawn concealing the photograph; the microphone is on and amplified .
